It is well known that music lifts the mood. Additionally, research shows that it helps heal trauma, reduces stress and boosts and builds resilience. It is therefore beneficial to keep consciously mindful about these facts. To purposely select sounds that you love, as opposed to allowing your device to play its own selection. Because within your choice music, there are personalized tools which sing directly to your soul. The beat, harmony and notes that resonate with you, can be comparable to street lighting: – providing direction, making you feel happy, grounded, and supported.
Background music is not to be dismissed, compare it to a healthy diet, as each genre serves a spirit nourishing purpose. For example, Chopin seems to stimulate creativity within me. Mozart, I learned when my daughter was a toddler, increases brain activity in the left hemisphere, which is responsible for language and logic.
You can play music to simply keep you company, but if you are feeling at a low ebb then make sure you choose wisely. Deliberately pick songs that make you want to dance and sing along to. Turn the volume up loud, and allow the vibrations to comb the atoms of you. Notice how recharged your batteries feel afterwards. I like to do a before and after look in the mirror. I see the glow of me return and feel reenergized, instantly rewarding me with a “Can-do” attitude.
Life can be challenging for us all, yet music is our universal gift; we humans need it in our lives. In my opinion, it is as essential as water.
Make a point of thinking about what music you will play today as it really will connect you to the most helpful version of yourselves.
I hope you find this helpful.
With SUNNY wishes,
