Have you noticed, that when you’re doing something you love, that you move with rhythm, an effortless flow. You are moving to your own music, and basking in your own vibe.

In this mode we tend to be at our most productive, and time flies by. You could be painting, walking in our wonderful nature, baking or spending quality time laughing with loved ones.

When we can enjoy the things that we love doing, then we create a space of good intent: “That Walk in the forest has really loosened my limbs, I think I might paint that wall later.”

But then you might deflate, because your allocated quality time is limited, by work and the commitments’ we all have.  You might wallow, drink tea, eat too many biscuits. Or, you could keep thinking about all that melodic flow you had earlier. It is your unique power pack, and we can learn to keep it on, the little currents of our own-made fuel that keeps us riding the wave of life. If for example you wish you could spend more time with those you love, remember the free tools we have such as facetime, Skype etc. We can feel grateful that thanks to modern technology – we’re never far away from those we love. That we can grab that flowy sensation again.

Or regarding your hobbies, try to list what you love doing, and modify your time schedule to enable you to fit more time for them in. Example, although I prefer writing in the mornings, over the last few weeks, I’ve added in some evening typing. Even though the cerebral palsy is more of a nuisance in the evenings, at least I am tuning into my flow. The benefit, whilst with morning fresh eyes, I may want to modify my wording, at least I have added more soul nutrients to my flow. It is about keeping your personal fire glowing.

To maintain, or call upon the bouncy feeling whenever we wish: is to help repel feeling in a low mood in the first place.

It’s good for sustaining mental wellbeing. We can remember that life is all about balance.

And, have fun with all your senses: play the songs you love, look at the photos you took, think about varying the brush stroke on your painting. Get in the same treat, you made for your loved ones, just because you can. – homemade chicken pie, which will all add personal fuel to your soul-tank.

Purposefully spend ten or so minutes, setting up music, jotting down that paint technique idea in a dedicated notebook, so you don’t mislay it later. Do a bit of breathing work, and then feel the zoom of you return and whirl around in your atoms.

Next, do the chores, or tackle your work ergonomically, doing so is the percussion to your flow. Example, if you’re facing the task of cleaning the kitchen, spray -down all the cupboards first. Or set yourself time slots for answering emails. Use the uplifting energy you siphoned off from the pursuits you love in your real-time.

And, doing so captures and saves time – for you to devote to more of the things you love.

When we tap into the nucleus, or stimulus of our natural human, living organism flow, we are moving in time to our natural beat. We are tuning into our unique, productive flow.

I hope you find this helpful.

With SUNNY wishes,

Emma xx
