Going deeper than the clothes we chose to wear; it is beneficial to do an annual review about how you define yourself: tall. A lot can change a year on and circumstances, health etc, can squish down our spirits. We must remember such things affect us in our entire physiology. We do not need round shoulders and headaches.

Equally, you may have spent the last year: power-dressing, yet you don’t feel much more clarity than you hoped you might, this time last year. This is because you have over-looked the three parts of us: mind, body spirit. We need to work them together. In this example, more attention is needed on how you to give focus to supporting the mind and spirit.

My year has squished me, I have recently lost my abusive mother, and the nuisance of the cerebral palsy is a constant physical drag. Yet I am peaceful for the first time in 56 years, it was my birthday – last week. I have been very busy defining myself tall again. In my case, I need the tall shoes, of further physical exercises and reviews to keep me tall, and mobile. I need to patch-up the holes in my spirit, where the flames of mother’s machinations are much ongoing, wearing and tiring.

I need to keep my mind entirely focused. Eating the correct foods is essential, I cannot reiterate this enough. This fabric of me is strong: I am lucky, not much new mending here, since I have been eating well, coming into my fifth year. I have yet to find a literary agent and so I am midst defining characters and storylines for a fictious version of my childhood. I am also defining a new working regime – new buttons and ribbons on my suit, so that I can slot-in more writing time.

Crucially, I’m thinking about defining myself tall, consciously; I am tweaking colours, adjusting hems.

I know to achieve this I must maintain the pyramid of my personal foundations. They are the same as your foundations. However well you are doing in one of your human cornerstones: Mind / body / spirit, we cannot forget that each three need daily management. (wash, press, fold).

The more we master this soul-nourishing art, or fuller awakening, the further we repel the static from outside influences.

Or, with regards to my spirit getting singed due to the backlash of my mother’s death. I knew it would, and although it was somewhat unexpected and sudden: when the flame lashed, I was pre-prepared. I had, sometime ago, defined myself tall here. I kept eating well, the food we eat effects our mood. I felt worthy of the sense of peace. I spoke to close friends.

In so there were only a couple of minor burns to my suit. But they are on the hem of my trousers: where I kicked all the bad energy out of my life.

I am defining myself tall for the exciting New year ahead.

I hope you find this helpful.

With SUNNY wishes,

Emma xx
