I know that none of us are sheep. Our wooly friends cannot read! Therefore, instead of copying or feeing pressurized into making a New Year’s resolution list: don’t!

Do this for several energy uplifting reasons:

  • Lengthy lists get us rebelling against them.
  • We are mean to ourselves, if we drop the ball after January.
  • We are gloriously individual humans, charmed with a higher aptitude than sheep.
  • Save money on alluring miracle- promising phony commercials / products
  • Prevent new shoots of anxiety budding because we didn’t make a list.

Instead, bravely swim again the tide, and do not get caught-up in the socially expected discussion of what may / may not be in your New Year’s resolution list.

You already know what aspects in your lives you want to improve on. You have carried your aspirations around for a long time. Even if you have yet to act on them; you know of your dreams and heart desires.

Frankly there is usually little gained by discussing them, because only you can apply the actions required and you are the only devotee to your will and inspiration.

Besides, many people will belittle you, they’re secretly insecure or jealous. They could wish for you to fail; purely because they cannot envision having the same determination as you. It is human nature, in many – to want a dreamer to remain on the same plain as they are.

You will know who you can trust, and with these select few diamond souls; they will want to listen. But you do not need to tell them every nth detail; it is better to show them the top- end- only, results of your actions. This is dependable on how much you trust them, and the shiniest of these rarities – will naturally want to help, or support you anyway.

If, for example – you wish to shed some weight, then such select few, can of course be great to confide in. But it is only ever number one who can start a new habit, or lifestyle change.

Finally, be kind and realistic, address one thing at a time. Especially if it a new business venture, or a creative desire. These pursuits are time consuming.  Singular focusing is key, because new habits, like plants, take a few weeks to bed-into the psyche.

I hope you find this helpful.

With SUNNY good luck wishes; and a Happy healthy 2026!
