I never thought it would happen, though stuck in the crevices of my mind, I have yearned for it for far too long…. Yes, I am finally engaged and I realise that I like her lots.
It is a blind love, honest and real. It is the friendship that I always hoped I would make: I am engaged to me – number one, and I am alert and bouncy.
Now I reside purely in my conscious thoughts. It is a clean fresh space and the murky ditches- replaced with fresh banks of vibrant blossoming possibilities.
It does not matter whether my life continues to grow more challenging, or whether I am fortunate enough to find firmer footing; it is simply a mindset, that I choose to nurture.
In the glorious freshly mown mind field of my head, I skip, sometimes trip, I am only human, and yet highly aware… now all the bracken has been cleared from my meadow. No more thistles piercing my skin, no more beguiling ivy beleaguering my step. So, I move freely, under the canopy of the oxygen-rich trees that remain my constant. The aspen, the silver birch, and the oak, they let in sufficient sunrays and never stifle. They are an adequate healthy sufficiency of purity.
There are no more mind ditches that require precarious foot work, and no more threats to the slaughter house, because that building imploded: bad energy always does – eventually.
There is much uncertainty, a swathe swooning overhead, like a flock of birds, and when they take rest in the branches of my trees; they tweet reminders to keep me agile of consciousness. Their varying chirps, symbiotic of the new problems I face.
But I am not afraid, problems are a life constant, they merely shapeshift like the evolving clouds. We can embrace them rather than flee.
My life is a new paddock, the landscape changed – a new season…
When we are unfazed by our own oneness and welcome all that is true; discarding all the debris that once clung to us, we become fully conscious. We grow fully committed to number one, and our faults, and problems- like rain reveals pebbles, will glisten up at us, from the new path we tread.
The impossible boulders of yesteryear, now easier to fathom; we grow more resourceful, perhaps a plank for leverage, and all this happens when we become engaged to ourselves.
I hope you find this helpful
