Those of us who are blessed with eyesight, must never take for granted the colours in our world, our flowers, baby pink, kissy soft yellows- to impossible- to- believe ethereal shades of neon tangerine. Everywhere we look, are colours in nature to cheer you up. All the scents on top, floral to taste bud teasers…well they marry-up to our eyesight. We create wondrous comforting associations. Example if I see a primrose, next I smell – in my minds-eye, the delicious cakes that Nannie baked. We use touch, all our senses; we can help explain colour should we be blessed to meet a blind person. We can stop, enjoy a chatter. See if we can find a comforting linkage, just in the surroundings you find yourselves in. A supermarket – where I did this recently.
We are all part of nature, and we know it soothes us. We think of colour; it nudges us a reminder to notice all the ways in which our senses pick up on the beautiful little things around us.
Within each one of us is a unique ability to recall and imagine any colour, scent sound, or touch, that we wish to. It fills us with energy blended with a delicious, calming undercurrent, to the atoms and cells we souls reside in.
So, if you have much to do, and you need to feel more productive, then simply do a bit of breathing, it only takes a few moments: breathe in through nostrils, hold for count of four. Blow out through pursed lips: repeat four times. Then roll your shoulders, and gently your head.
Next recall some beautiful sense awareness memories, how you can link them now: just by using your imagination. A few productive minutes of must- have reset time. Next time- you pop out: who might you look out for, to engage and chatter to. Helping other people instantly evokes pleasant popping candy sensations in our atoms. It feels soothing. It makes us remember gratitude. It unites us.
There you go, your soul has been nourished, just by directing your thoughts. It feels incredibly refreshing. I notice I get a mint like cooling sensation in my nostrils, and my head is calm and I feel assertive. It is a beautiful way to keep productive.
What’s more it is yours, anytime, anywhere you are, and it will not cost you a single penny to try doing. We humans are blessed with an extraordinary sense of imagination – it can even help us be more productive.
I hope this helps.
SUNNY wishes,
Emma x
