Similarly to a Sat Nav, we often need to recalculate our direction in life; especially when it’s outside influences which change our life route.

But, if we’re not mindful, then we can unwittingly self-sabotage our blueprint. We can throw it all away, perhaps in frustration; crumpling the guide, that we’ve made, that’s helping us to make the things we want: – to happen in the first place!

It’s like believing the car device, which is re-routing us miles away from our destination; rather than trusting our gut instinct and picking a country- road- short-cut- that we’re familiar with.

My blueprint used to consist of four sections: My old business, health and fitness, creative writing, and family time. I knew that for a maximum sense of wellbeing; that I needed to fold each quarter- part in: daily.

But, when the cerebral palsy worsened, it was during covid, when I also lost my business. I had wobbly blueprint foundations, and it took me a while to notice, past the initial concerns- about how I’d make a living…

Yet, truthfully, and even though I still have the tatty graphic – I’d designed, stuck to my cupboard: I’d been driving a blueprint, which was well- overdue of a service. My exercise regime was a joke, I barely did any at all. I was too busy working ridiculous hours, and my diet needed improving.

I was lucky because I had to address my health. If I didn’t exercise, then I was in danger of not being able to walk again. For more than three years now, I do it daily, plus eating properly, truly is nature’s pharmacy. (This phrase: I credit to my great late friend- Stephen Colyer).

Frankly, this segment of my blueprint, has monopolised the others. We learn to adapt our attitude from necessity. I grew consciously aware, that I was still off-balance with my personal life guide: My blue print.

Yet, I still had a foggy head, which was blended with a weird new found feelings of self-pride.

And, on the challenging side: the weight of my mother. My daughter had left home, worked long hours etc. I only wanted to spend family time with her. So, I finally took the, long- running advice from the professionals; and cut all contact with her, about eighteen months ago.

Immediately, I felt lighter in mind body, spirit. I had a vast new space in my entire- self: for love. I have recently been blessed with a granddaughter…

I thought about the creative writing. I must have finished the draft off, in a helpful variety of a state of autopilot. I was so free of mind, that I’d typed the last chapters, in brain – dump mode: void of emotion, because I’d finally pulled out the thorn of mother.

I’ve only just thought about money. I am fortunate that the government help me a little. I would like and need more though. My getting a literary agent, is a slow-burn of course, so I’ll turn my attention to trying my hand at candle – making. It’ll be fun, and it is soul-nourishing – for all of us, to try creative stuff.

Our blue -prints need making, they evolve, and update throughout our blessed lives here. We gloriously lucky souls are so fortunate to be in human form: the wonderful human brain.

Try devising your own blue print. It works, it’ll get you thinking about what you want to do and how you can drive your life, and live a full and happy time, on our precious planet earth.

I hope you find this helpful.

With SUNNY wishes,
