Even though you may not be feeling strong today, there have been times when you’ve felt bouncy, vibrant, and full of strength. This is because we have varying versions of ourselves, and outside influences shape us: – in the same way that the climate affects the flow of the sea.

We ebb and recede just like our coastal lines, and similarly, the oceans of the world have never dried -up completely.  And, as we learn to consciously take care of our planet to ensure our water remains buoyant and plentiful: the same is true of number one.

It suits all things living: to have water, and we are mindful about those who lack it. It suits you to keep naturally strong, even when the flow of you feels sludgy.

We must conserve the water of us: build dams against negativity. Moreover remember the power of this element, which forms a large percentage of our bodily make-up. We are all part of the fabric of our beautiful precious planet. We breath the same life-force and at the core of us is the same strength as all the other species…

It’s just that sometimes that the smog of life’s challenges threatens our view.

So how do we replenish and maintain our strength?

We can liken it to our physical strength which is accrued over time with consistency patience and self-love. There are layers of it.

The foundation is the power of gratitude, respect, and kindness; helping others produces restorative qualities in the psyche of both the reciprocate and receiver. Simply assisting a senior person with their groceries: tops up the faith we have for our fellow human, and reminds us of others vulnerabilities.   We reset our mindset automatically and the universe makes us feel humble. It stimulates our energy by way of acknowledging that we are serving our worldly brothers and sisters as we are here to do.

Being a decent human is a layer of transferable sharable strength.

Just last week I felt attracted by the vibes of a blind lady. Her giggles and smile were akin to the sun shining in the aisle of the supermarket, or upon the river of me. That day the cerebral palsy was a bit challenging, so I was feeling a tad crestfallen and weak.

So, I approached her and we chatted for ages. Her memory and recall are phenomenal, and it was she who described the ring she showed me on her finger. Her mother must adore her: the loving way it includes layers of textured hearts. She made me immensely proud of her human strength, and along with her assistant, we are midst arranging a meet -up. Her disability minimized mine, and I am thankful that she replenished my strength.

Another layer is to recall, acknowledge, and utilize our strength of yesteryear. Simply sit down with a cup of tea, or whilst you are relaxing in the bath; and think about all the past times when you’ve felt strong.  Try not to dwell on experiences that hurt your heart, guide your head to the sheer strength you had instead. Go as far back into your memory as you can, and count out five examples on your hand.

There will be many varying layers which make up your personal strength, you just need to familiarize yourself with them again, and pan for them like precious metal. Jot them down and decorate your house with post-it notes: make as many reminder- prompts as you like. Doing so will keep your goals and memories in your helpful conscious mind.

Lastly, luckily due to the disability, I must keep as fit as possible. It only dawned on me about three years ago to do so. Strength of mind is also supported by eating whole foods and exercising to the best of your ability. You do not have to train for a marathon, just move and stretch and do so consistently.

I hope you find this helpful.
