A few weeks ago, I asked who your favourite actor is.
I did so, because when we like somebody, we are drawn to their skills, integrity, passion and so on. We feel inspired, and perhaps subconsciously, we emulate aspects of their personalities. We could also be drawn to their sense of confidence, or style. Equally, we may simply love the truth we observe in their eyes…
When we’ve finished enjoying a film, starring our actor friend – with loved ones, often we find ourselves chatting about them; discussing the marvel of their gift of merely using their silent expression to convey the script: the gripping nuances of language, that they master. Similarly, we might be gushing over their steely devotion to their craft, or sheer oodles of talent. We may simply love them for their bouncy love of life, and laughter.
Later in the shower, or cozied-up up in bed, we might drift off to sleep, with them in our thoughts.
But then, we get up. It’s the next day: a crust to earn.
The humdrum of tedious tasks, or a joyous day- off with laughter, and loved ones.
Yet, we forget… we’ll remember again: only when we see them in the next film, or performance.
So, we get all charged-up again, excited to be back in their glorious vibes. In awe of their performance, and attributes…
Aha, – there’s The Moment! It’s because you’ve enjoyed a light-bulb flash. A notion has sprung-up from your sub-conscious mind. It’s now in the handy conscious part of instead, because you’ve noticed it!
Perhaps these lovely petals of knowing are opening -up in your mind? They might be thoughts along these lines:
“I reckon, if I put my mind to it, then I could learn Italian too”
“Wow, I didn’t realise they supported people like me, in that industry – I’m gonna look into it now”
“If he can learn that just for his role, then so can I”
“Oh wow, I used to be good at that at school, plus I LOVED it, I’m gonna take it up again.
“I could carry that look off, plus it’ll make me feel more confident”
Of course, we are inspired by lots of people we meet; in every walk-of-life, and there are some incredible souls in our world.
So, don’t just let your love for them pass you by. Imagine grasping it, plucking it from the sky, as though it were a balloon of free glorious, personalized energy.
Enjoy jotting down later, over a cup of tea: everything you like about a person whom you admire. Do so for as many people as you like. This fun exercise is relaxing and pleasant.
Allow those helpful words to float around your head for a few days.
They will soon distil into your own fuel, and the more you think in this way, then the more inspired you will enjoy feeling.
I hope this is helpful.
SUNNY wishes,
Emma x
