And you can select the mood simply by picking the right tune for the sort of atmosphere you want to set. Remember, animals may be non-verbal but they can read us accurately and they copy us. They can tell if you are sad, they can tell if you are weary and washed out and yearn for some uplifting energy.
With Pixie and I, we enjoy a set routine. She likes to go to bed between 8:30-9pm and she’s in “flopsy bunny mode” from about 8pm, depending on the weather. So because I’m in physical pain, (and can’t really dance – ha ha), with the disability that I have, I too am tired from about 8pm. Pixie and I like to play Bob Marley and we dance together, whilst I blow hot potatoes on her adorable neck in time to the music.
