Without a doubt, the most fascinating talk that I’ve ever attended was an interactive talk about our amazing intuition and how to use it!

The speaker was a 47 year old female, and we knew this because she asked us to guess her age. There were about sixty of us, and Margaret asked us to guess lots of things about her. Her questions ranged from whether she was married, where she liked to holiday, her favourite newspaper, etc. There were about twenty questions, and astonishingly, as a collective, we got them all right!

Prior to launching into the game she gave two instructions: either hold what we felt immediately, or study the way she looked and then form an opinion.
We gasped as she revealed the results, but she was quite nonchalant about her explanation.

She said that we all have a sense of intuition, it’s simply that we forget to tap into it. Essentially, we all guess things about the new people we meet, or the people we speak to without seeing. Commonly, we pop that person into an age range and imagine what their hobbies are. We compare them to ourselves or other people we know.

When we remember to do this it activates our conscious minds, as opposed to our auto-pilot minds, which we tend to use in much of our daily activities.
So, try to utilise your innate skill as a way to build deeper relations with the people you meet or talk to. The more you practice this, the better you will get!
