Whilst most of a Pufferfish is toxic to humans, part of the flesh is edible, delicious apparently, although I’ve not tried it!
Yet we can liken this to the misplaced anger that some of us endure: firstly, we can recognise that every human emotion is both normal and valid. Secondly, we can acknowledge that each ones fills us with energy, and energy can be repurposed to serve us more productively and healthily.
If we recall how powerful the feeling of love is, then we can instantly remind ourselves about how those bouncy, free and invincible feelings effect our entire physiology: we could climb any mountain due to strength that surges through our bodies; even physical pain seems far easier to manage when we experience new love.
Therefore, we’d be wise to extract and re-condition the angry emotion within us.
All energy from any of our emotions is like personal fuel; it’s not just vehicles that need it to keep moving. Once we become mindful of this, I can assure you that it’s an incredibly helpful mind shift…
Only a few people know why I have misplaced anger; but I see no constructive reason to share this with you. This is because I’ve finally learned, how to redirect the charging-horses, like energy: far more usefully, and instead siphon-off its energy and apply it to other areas of my lifestyle.
Fundamentally, I’ve thought, “Why should I be hindered by things which are out of my control?”.
I’ve reminded myself that I have a small circle of genuine fantastic people around me, and daily I count my blessings.
But importantly, I’ve managed to recognise that the energy from the feelings in any emotion; even anger can be filtered, cut out, and used constructively.
So, for instance, because the cerebral palsy is harder to manage; I have to do certain exercises daily, to help keep me mobile. I’ll find out imminently what can be done to help support the affected side of my body. I have also received the quota of physiotherapy from the finely- stretched NHS, in so I’ve had to be self-motivated: I wish to carry on being able to walk!
Therefore, the historic misplaced anger within me, may well have been replenished, due to a recent news story; yet I’ve not allowed it to sink me. I’ve re-channelled and distilled its energy instead! I have surpassed the quantity of physical reps given to me by my physiotherapist, fifteen, now up to sixty per day, and a newly bestowed one: from five a day, now up to fifteen.
As I achieve each set, I make a triumphant lion growl, following it up with some handy lion breathing exercises… and just like a big cat, I remind myself that I am entirely in charge of number one.
If you are midst coping with the twisting stomach sensations – often caused by misplaced anger, then my advice would be to get outside into nature: – walk, run, stretch, invest in breathing exercises, and repurpose its powerful grip to help yourself instead!
I hope you find this helpful.
SUNNY wishes,
