Peacehaven writer creates stories to boost mental health
Emma Andrews has published Chopped up Jelly Heads, where her characters discuss how they cope with various mental illnesses.
The 50-year-old from Peacehaven has cerebral palsy, but has taken her message into schools to help children understand what signs to look out for and to also understand their own feelings.
She said: “With my disability, I have always had to work for myself. These stories are aspirational and I’m taking them on the road as it is a free resource for children.”
